The 2H1C Function is a futurospective activity for building a competitive plan based on logical, emotional and determination perspectives.

Step to Step

1. Ask people to brainstorm and add notes to the first area “HEAD”. What are the evidences, the facts and data to help our logical decision-making decision process?
2. Ask people to brainstorm and add notes to the second area “HEART”. Logic cannot be completed without emotion, so what are the sentiments and emotional things we should consider?
3. Ask people to discuss and add notes to the third area “COURAGE”. For building an audacious and competitive plan, what are our courageous actions and attitudes?
4. Group conversation
5. Plan the next steps

Logic (head) and emotions (heart) are two compelling and complementary thought processes to drive decisions. You should not rely on only one of those for decision-making, especially as a group. The best group decisions have great balance between the head and the heart.
